HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1. Take part in a collection
It's so easy! Use this form to register your town or city to take part in the Water Lover Challenge. Then organise a collection event in your area between 20 and 30 September 2025, and invite local residents to take part. On the day, bring gloves and recycled PET bottles and start collecting cigarette butts. There's no fixed location*: in the forest, in town, by the lake, in a park - anywhere! Remember, every gesture counts, and together we can make a difference!
*We encourage large groups to split into several teams to cover a wider area and maximise the number of cigarette ends collected.
You can now invite Noam Yaron to take part in your city's cigarette butt collection. He can also give an inspirational talk before or after the collection. For more information, contact us!
Your collection will be listed on this interactive map, enabling other people in your area to join you and take part in the collection you're organising!
2. Register your collection and enter the prize draw
Between 20 and 30 September 2025, once you have completed your collection, register it using the form available on the home page. Remember to take a photo (of the butts and the participants) to validate your collection and enter the competition (for example, prizes to be won in 2024).
For all group entries, we encourage each participant to register their collection individually on the form in order to automatically enter the draw for a chance to win prestigious prizes.
3. Share the initiative
To amplify the impact of the collection, publicise your commitment to the Water Lover Challenge on your internal communication channels and social networks. Every participation is precious: the more of us there are, the more we'll reduce pollution from cigarette butts, save litres of water and protect biodiversity, which is essential to our health!
COLLECT CIGARETTE BUTTS AND WIN PRIZES
By entering your collection* on the form, you automatically enter the draw for a chance to win prestigious prizes generously donated by our partners. In 2024, overnight stays in Marriott International hotels and Le Petit Prince limited Moleskine collection boxes were up for grabs.
*We invite each participant to individually record the number of cigarette butts they have collected on the platform to increase their chances of winning!
